Founded in 1947 by James Okell.
Jim was a design leader in our industry and was very influential in fireplace accessory design. He produced the highest quality accessories with hand finished and handcrafted beauty. Workmanship and quality were essential to the items he produced and he displayed them with pride.
Okell’s Fireplace in San Francisco continues the tradition of producing and selling the finest quality fireplace equipment. Believing workmanship, high quality materials, and knowledge are essential ingredients to every item we sell, Okell’s Fireplace has been helping to keep California homes warm for over 70 years!

Okell’s Fireplace is a full service fireplace shop. Our sales associates can answer your questions on the phone as well as show you the products in the showroom. Our experienced and professional estimator can come to your home for a free estimate and advise you on design and measurements. A trained and licensed Okell’s Fireplace installation team installs our fireplaces and stoves. Okell’s Fireplace is the one-stop fireplace shop you’ve been looking for!
